A new model of care for women in midlife
CaptureCare was created to fill a gap many women experience — but few services address
The space between appointments, where no one is watching trends, patterns, and early signals over time.
Many women hear things like:
“Your labs are normal.”
“That’s just midlife.”
“Come back if it gets worse.”
Most of the time, this isn’t dismissive. It’s a system limitation. Healthcare is not designed to monitor change continuously, or to connect the subtle shifts happening across hormones, metabolism, sleep, and stress.
CaptureCare exists to hold that in-between space with clinical precision and human connection, we help ensure small changes are understood early — not overlooked, misunderstood, or dismissed.
Why CaptureCare exists
Women are not lacking discipline or awareness — they are lacking consistent, connected support.
Healthcare today is built around short appointments, limited time, and fragmented care.
CaptureCare exists to bridge that gap — combining clinical oversight with the time, continuity, and human connection women need to feel supported, understood, and confident in their health.
What CaptureCare is not
CaptureCare is not just another app or one-off consultation.
It’s not data without explanation, or advice without follow-through.
We combine medical-grade monitoring with a dedicated nurse who knows you — so you’re not left interpreting results alone or repeating your story at every appointment.
We are here for women who want more
Women who want more than quick answers or surface-level care.
Women who want to be listened to, supported, and guided over time.
With CaptureCare, you have a consistent nurse who understands your body and your life — creating a trusted relationship where you feel comfortable to ask questions, express concerns, and be fully supported.
Meet Amelia Dickison – Founder of CaptureCare
I have over 25 years’ experience working in the medical industry across sales, education, and marketing — partnering with GPs, specialists, hospitals, and government agencies across Australia.
Throughout my career, I repeatedly saw the gaps in how women’s health is understood and supported — particularly the lack of ongoing, personalised care between appointments. But it wasn’t until my own experience as a woman and a mother that I truly understood the depth of that gap.
I didn’t build CaptureCare to create another health app. I built it because I know what it feels like to feel overwhelmed in your own body… and not have clear answers or support. To be doing everything “right” — and still not feel like yourself. To carry a lot, while quietly trying to hold everything together.
CaptureCare was created to give women what I couldn’t find at the time: clear guidance, ongoing support, and a trusted relationship with someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
Why I built CaptureCare
For a long time, I lived in survival mode.
Like many women, I went through divorce and years of sustained pressure where everyone else’s needs came first. I didn’t fall apart. I kept functioning, showing up, and holding everything together. From the outside, I looked capable. Inside, I was exhausted. My body was worn down, my nervous system constantly on edge, and although I was coping, I wasn’t truly well. I learned something the hard way: You can function for years without realising what it’s costing your health.
I tracked data I didn’t fully understand. I asked questions doctors didn’t always have time to answer. I lived with the tension of “normal results” — but not feeling normal at all. And what became clear to me was this: Women today have more access to health data than ever before — but often without continuity, clinical context, or real support. Especially during midlife. This isn’t because women are overthinking. And it’s not because we’re fragile. It’s because the system was never designed to support us continuously through this stage of life.
So I built CaptureCare.
I set out to create something fundamentally different:
- A model that recognises women’s bodies are complex and constantly changing
- A system that combines clinical precision with human connection
- A place where questions are taken seriously, not dismissed
- And where women are supported consistently — not just when something goes wrong
Because I know what it feels like to carry a lot… and keep going anyway. And I also know the difference it makes when you finally have the right support. But this goes beyond health. Through my own experience navigating the family court system to protect my children, I saw how many women fall through the cracks — not just in healthcare, but in other critical areas of life.
Women who are strong, capable, and doing everything they can — yet still lack access to the support they need at the most important moments. That’s why CaptureCare is being built with a bigger vision. As the business grows, so does our capacity to create meaningful impact — including future initiatives to support women who lack access to legal and financial support during times of crisis.
This is not just about building a health service. It’s about building a platform that improves women’s lives — at scale. I believe in the power of one woman with a clear vision, the right support, and the determination to follow it through. Because when one woman is supported properly, the impact doesn’t stop with her — it extends to her family, her work, her community, and beyond.
CaptureCare is built from that belief.
Women deserve health support that sees them, understands them, and walks alongside them — not just in moments of crisis, but every day.
And we’re building exactly that.
Our clinical boundaries (and why they matter)
CaptureCare is a preventative, nurse-led health monitoring service. We do not replace your GP, specialists, or emergency care. Instead, we work alongside your existing healthcare team.
Our role is to:
- Monitor health trends over time
- Identify meaningful changes early
- Support informed conversations with your GP or specialist
- Provide calm, evidence-based guidance between appointments
- This ensures your care remains safe, appropriate, and clinically responsible.
- If something falls outside our scope, we help you escalate to the right place—promptly and clearly.
If this resonates
If something in this page feels familiar
if you’re sensing change and want calm, professional support
We invite you to take the next step.
There’s no pressure and no obligation.
Just a conversation, when you’re ready.
